How do you build on a simple game concept where the goal was to destroy a house using flamethrowers and machine guns to rid it of spiders? Since there’s less focus on “realism,” the game takes a more exciting turn by introducing multiverse travel.

Now, you and your friends can explore various worlds, uncovering diamonds and secrets hidden within the maps. Unfortunately, even with this expanded gameplay, the game still feels a bit short especially for a collectathon. In its early version, finishing the game in multiplayer with four people, including finding all the diamonds (essential for unlocking missions and doors), can take just 5-6 hours, leaving you wanting more.

Kill It With Fire 2 is a delightfully silly game, and if you’re clever, you can find plenty of hilarious ways to break it. The progression is smooth not too hard, but still requires a bit of effort. My friend and I managed to complete the early access content in about 6.2 hours (thanks, Steam!) and we’re eagerly waiting for more. But seriously, up yours, devs, for teasing us with Alpha One access! We thought we were about to dive into a full-on objective grind.

The game offers an awesome multiplayer experience, both in co-op and PvP modes, and it’s just too fun to miss out on. Kill It With Fire 2 is a casual indie experience that’s easy to pick up, with solid mechanics that’ll keep you entertained for hours. While the main objective is to wipe out spiders, the game also incorporates a larger storyline, giving it more depth.

And don’t worry if you haven’t played the first game you can jump right into this one and still have a blast. Whether you’re teaming up with friends to cause chaos or playing solo, the sheer fun of destroying everything in sight just to get rid of some spiders is hard to beat. Give it a shot whether you’ve got friends or not, it’s a wild ride!
